Symmetron has supported many of the Navy’s weapons, systems and platform programs’ major acquisition milestones. These include the DD(X) and a number of STEALTH programs. The Kill Chain modeling and simulation program has evolved as a tool to rapidly iterate and assess system design and their resultant mission effectiveness and new requirements. Weapons and sensor vulnerabilities can be assessed using real-world and theoretical data which include future threat system capabilities and environments. After assessing threat capabilities, U.S. Navy future force capabilities and vulnerabilities can be simulated and assessed in a virtual environment using current or hypothetical threat systems.
